About Jenn
Jenn grew up in a rural area outside of Philadelphia and graduated from a public high school. After high school she attended the University of Pittsburgh where she received a BA with honors for her double major in anthropology and classical civilization with a minor in political science, and then attended law school while working at the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business. Jenn met her husband, who is originally from Wheaton, during college and they moved to Illinois in 2004.
After working at a large law firm in Chicago, Jenn started her own firm in 2011. In her decades of practice, Jenn has worked on cases ranging from commercial litigation and bankruptcy to guardianships and transactional real estate. Jenn has taught real estate law for paralegals as an adjunct and has provided hundreds of hours of pro bono legal assistance over the last twenty years.
In the past Jenn has volunteered time to help draft legislation and advocate for affordable medications and healthcare, using her decades of experience living with type 1 diabetes and as a cancer survivor. She has volunteered as a kitten foster for a local animal shelter and is on the legal advisory council of Triage Cancer.
Jenn was elected to represent the 45th District in 2022, and has been appointed to the following legislative committees:
Small Business, Tech Innovation;
Energy & Environment;
Insurance;
Public Utilities;
Judiciary - Civil;
Family Law & Probate Subcommittee;
Appropriations, Health & Human Services;
Appropriations, Public Safety; and
Sub Co-Chairperson of the Violence Reduction & Prevention Subcommittee.
Jenn lives in Elmhurst with her family.
